The recent population of MCJ at the Lawton Avenue ofMakati City is composed of 160 females and 800 males. For more than a year now,the feeding mission were done mostly by our partner, DADA’s lechon. SCP had ourfirst mission last October 25, 2017. The feeding mission produced many storiesrecounted by the inmates that inspires us to continue giving them hope,rekindle their lives and fill up those crevices of time inside the prison bars.
“Aklat mo para samalamig na Rehas” was held last February 16, 2018 at the Makati City Jail. 50Male Inmates participated in the actual event. This activity aims to give hopeto our incarcerated brothers in MCJ to aspire them by giving them books toread, motivate and inspire them. The program started with a prayer followed bythe National Anthem and a short Inspirational Talk from Ms. Daisy Galanto. andthe inspirational video. After watching, iLoveMyCountry.Ph Team turn over thebooks to Officer of Makati City Jail. The program also includes Feeding for theinmates sponsored by DADAS LITSON.
